We're back from retreat (which was amazing) and back to normal, kinda. This should be the last video for awhile that's posted late as we are all back to work and back to our good ol' routine. So, enjoy today's youth devotion video, as Pastor Krall continues through Acts, and leave us some feedback.

Things got busy for us today so were going to post one of our previous (but most popular) youth devotion videos, the March 9th video, and we'll post a brand new one either tomorrow or Friday. In this devotional Pastor Krall wrapped up Paul's letter to the Galatians and asked us, are we really living in the freedom God's given us?

Spring Breakin' It Up: The top 10 "other" places to visit in Orlando, FL

Bush Gardens Theme Park Florida

Keeping in the theme of Spring Break I found some more suggestions on how to spend the extra time.

If you live in Orlando, FL chances are you've already been to Disney and Universal but Central Florida is the tourist capital of the World and their is a lot more to offer than the big mouse and his competative movie-making buddy. The Orlando Sentiel recently wrote an article featuring the Top 10 Other Attractions that Orlando has to offer that maybe you've never gotten around to. If you have the time during this Spring Break consider trying one of these places out. Personelly I've never been to Ripley's Believe or Not and everytime I drive by that place it makes me want to stop...maybe I'll go this time.

NBC's new show; KINGS

Kings new tv show by nbc

NBC has a new show airing every Sunday night that I thought was worth mentioning called Kings. It uses the story of King David to see what the world might look like today if we had Kings ruling instead of voted in politicians. The show has everyone from the biblical story; David, King Saul, Samuel, even Joab; except in this version their wearing suits instead of tunics and shooting guns instead of swords.

King David is arguably my favorite character in the bible and to see a modern re-telling of his life through this show so far was very interesting (and surprisingly well done). Granted there has only been 1 2-hour episode the show is oozing with potential and worth checking out. The creator of the shows, whether Christian or not, obviously understand main elements of the story and their audience; including God as major player in the story, giving quick witty references to the original story, and even having Jars of Clay featured in their soundtrack. Already the show is rumored to be in jeopardy based on low ratings last week but if given a season or two how cool would it be to see a modern retelling of an Old Testament story?

If you’re interested in the show check out Relevant Magazine’s review of it, Hulu.com for the first 2-hour long episode, and give it a shot Sunday night, 8pm, on NBC. And as always; leave us a comment and let us know what you thought!
